Range

From lamb to snake – and faux leather where it is the better choice.

This is how the stock is organised: by hide, leather type, finish and thickness. The overview replaces neither a visit nor a conversation – it shows what we can talk about.

    Size
Roll goods, approx. 137–140 cm wide

Leather types

Nappa
Smooth leather with the grain side out, tanned soft and supple. Aniline, semi-aniline or pigmented – depending on how much nature may remain visible and how much protection the product needs.
Suede
Buffed on the flesh side, velvety, matt, with a writing effect. For garments, linings, decoration – more sensitive to moisture and grease than smooth leather.
Patent
High-gloss coated smooth leather. For accents in fashion, costume and accessories; the coating is easy-care but hardly breathable.
Fashion leathers
Metallic, print, embossing, perforation, laser, stretch: changing articles for fashion and stage – often in small quantities, often not reorderable. If you see something, secure it.

Finishes

Besides smooth nappa and suede qualities, the stock holds processed leathers: embossed, perforated, laser-cut, printed, foiled, stretch or fabric-backed – as well as chrome-free and vegetable-tanned articles.

  • Embossed
  • Perforated
  • Laser-cut
  • Printed
  • Foil / metallic
  • Stretch
  • Fabric-backed
  • Chrome-free / vegetable-tanned

Thickness

From 0.4 mm for linings and gloves to 1.8 mm for belts and furniture. Thickness determines drape, body and sewability – which is why it is part of every consultation.

0.6 – 0.8 mmGarments, costume, fine accessories
0.9 – 1.2 mmBags, upholstery, vehicle seats
